Spray carburettors. - The apparatus is adapted to be screwed to the engine cylinder; the primary air enters at B, and passes down the Venturi tube C where it meets the fuel coming from the passages X and then passes into the cylinder by the valve F which may be controlled mechanically or by suction. Secondary air passes in through a hand adjusting- device S, down the tube M and meets the mixture at the apertures N, being controlled by the sleeve A in such a way that it cannot pass into the mixture until the first portion of the main supply has entered the tube. The amount of fuel is adjusted by adaptors L.
