Moving-map and like indicators for vehicles.- A map, chart, indicator or the like for vehicles is provided with a shaft D with means at each end for driving the map &c. according to the direction of travel, and with a vertical support about which the case can be turned when the drive is to be reversed. The drive is effected through a detachable flexible connexion E, and the ends of the case are provided with springs C, within which the ends of the map coil and uncoil. Plates P and side-pieces o keep the map taut. A nut M on the roller K enables the map to be dismounted, and a bar p laid across the display opening may show a given distance on the map behind or in front of the vehicle.
