Belts. - A driving-belt for use with cone pulleys is produced by folding fabric or balata so as to form the central portion b, which engages the pulley, thicker than the edge portions c, c1. One or more fabrics may be employed, the folds being made to adhere to each other by india-rubber &c., pressing, and stitching. The belts are made endless, either in weaving, or by causing the various plies to overlap.
