Wire-strainers.-A locking-device for strainers of the turn-buckle type comprises a finger D hinged to the wire cable slotted at I to receive a locking-pin H which passes through the part D and the screwed sleeve A. A second troughshaped locking-member J secured to the other wire and slotted at K may be provided together with a square sleeve G which embraces both locking-members and through which the pin H passes.
