Saws.-A hacksaw blade is formed with teeth curved as shown in Fig. 3, to arcs of circles whose centres lie in a line parallel to, or at an angle with, the blade. Preferably the blanks 2 are mounted, a number at a time, in a clamp 1 having a clamping-strip 3 and set screws 4, the whole being held in a machine such as is described in Specification 141,536, [Class 83 (iii), Metals, Cutting], while the teeth are cut. The blanks are finally cut to length, pierced, and hardened.
