Saws. - A hack saw which has fine teeth, at its leading end 1 followed by coarse teeth 3 has a wave-like formation on the edge of the blade, beginning at a point 5, near the leading end 1 and gradually increasing in amplitude to the point 6 when it may suddenly or gradually disappear. The cutting edge is also made convex in the plane of the blade to strengthen the middle portion. In a modification, fine teeth may be provided at both ends and coarse teeth in the middle.
