Locking by positive detents.-A metal bolt d encased in rubber or similar material and housed in a casing e clamped to the axle a of a baby carriage &c. is normally pressed out by a spring g to engage the spokes of the wheel, the bolt being withdrawn by a wire encased in a flexible housing l when a control lever h conforming to the shape of the handle bar c is grasped. The lever h is connected by a pin i to a bracket portion k clamped to the handlebar c.
