Cooking-stoves; closed solid-fuel stoves; hot. plates; boilers, arrangement of.-The removable hot-plate 8 of a water-heating or heating stove is formed in one piece extending completely over the stove, there being a recess in it to fit the outlet connection 9 for the flue pipe. The hot-plate rests on a frame 7, which it overhangs on all sides, and is preferably provided with a depending rim 13 to form a smoke-tight joint. The outlet connection 9 may have a flange 12 to support the rear of the hot-plate. The boiler shown extends to the foot of the ash-pit, where it is provided with cleaning-doors 19.
