摘要
248,472. British Reinforced Concrete Engineering Co., Ltd., and Hall, E. B. Dec. 5, 1924. Piles.-Reinforced concrete piles comprise a reinforcement of two or more sheets of spotwelded wire fabric arranged longitudinally and tied to spacing hoops. A sheet pile a, for example, is reinforced by two sheets of spot-welded wire fabric having longitudinal members b and relatively short transverse members c, the sheets being tied to hoops d, surrounding the fabric and secured to each transverse member c by wire binding e. The longitudinal wires b are hent inwardly at the point of the pile and suitably tied. Additional longitudinal members may be used, and the hoops may be tied to the longitudinal members of the fabric. Piles of any cross section may be reinforced in similar manner.
