[Classes 120 (ii) and 142 (iv).] The yarn-engaging surfaces of thread-guides, detectors, drop pins, beaming pins and like wire accessories are provided with a frictionless non- corrosive hard surface formed by chromium plating. The guides &c. 10 are plated in a tank 13 having anodes 14 and a detachable cathode bar 15 fitted with a clip support 16. A rubber or like pad 22 may be provided to accommodate articles of different thickness.
