[Class 52 (v)] A collapsable cardboard display stand comprises a background having a base and a shelf member hinged thereto, a riser hinged to the base and shelf, and supporting flaps for the shelf hinged to the riser and projecting through an opening in the background. In one arrangement, Fig. 2, the stand is formed from a blank, Fig. 5, provided with slits 2, 2 and scores 3, 4, 5, 6, the flaps 9, 9 being hinged to the rear of the riser 8. In another arrangement, Fig. 10, an additional shelf 10 is provided which is formed with an opening 10a for clearing the riser 8, which is formed with side extensions at its lower end to support this shelf. Two or more additional shelves may be provided.
