[Class 65 (ii)] [Also in Group XIV] A folding furniture leg 7 is pivoted at 8b to a bracket 5 carrying pivotally at 8a a spring-controlled cam 8 adapted to engage a pin 9 mounted on the leg to hold the leg rigidly in its extended position. The cam is shaped as shown to wedge between the pivot 8a and a roller 10 on the pin 9, and is released by a slight upward pressure or by a pivoted lever mounted on the leg and engaging the end of the cam.
