[Class 52 (v)] Link members of a metal clothes line on which articles are gripped without the use of pegs comprise parallel straight wires or rods 5 bent at the middle 6 to form openings 7 through which a corner of an article may be passed to be gripped between the straight stretches. The wires are spot welded at 9 to end links 8, and the line ds connected by springs 15 to wall hooks 4. The link may alternatively be formed by doubling a single wire, or the ends of the straight parts may be brought together and screw threaded to engage a nut in a D-link.
