[Class 132 (ii)] In a racket press, the press frames 10, 11 secured together by four studs 12 or the like and urged apart by springs 13 are forced together by levers 16, 17 operated by a common handle 21 the cam-shaped tapered ends 16a, 17a of the levers engaging the studs so that in the relaxed position the narrow part of the taper engages the stud and in the tensioned position the broader part acts between a bent-over part of the stud and a washer 23. One pair of levers are joined together to form a common operating handle 21 and the other pair is pivoted at 20 to the first pair. Stops 16b, 16c are provided on the lever ends. The studs are fitted with sleeve screws 14 for adjusting the maximum separation of the members 10, 11.
