A stable powdery concentrate of fat-soluble vitamins or provitamins is produced by incorporating them, or their solutions in a volatile or fat-like solvent, with a dry substance consisting of or containing non-liquid constituents of egg yolk in such ratio that at least 4 mg. of the vitamin or provitamin will be present for each gram of dry egg yolk substance or that weight of non-lipoid constituents which correspond to one gram of dry yolk substance. The stabilizations of vitamins A, D, and E, and b -carotene is referred to. The dried substance may be the contents of the entire egg, egg yolk or egg yolk from which the lethicin or a substantial part thereof has been removed by extrusion. Antioxidants such as esters of gallic or nordihydro guararotic acid may be added.
