Class 146(2) A writing tablet comprises an adhesive layer 2, a superimposed semi-transparent sheet 3 and a protective sheet 4, secured together to form a single unit 1 which is detachably mounted in an outereasing 7. The unit 1 is, at its upper edge held byhook shaped lugs 9 and at the lower edge by parts 10 and a removable locking element 12. The separating of the adhesive layer 2 and the semi-transparent sheet 3 for obliterating written matter is effected by a thin metal strip 19 secured at one side to a slider 16 slotted to ride on theside of the top frame. The slider may enter cut-outs in the upper and lower edges of the writing opening 8 so that thestrip 19 may obliterate the entire length of the aperture.
