The device has a notepad (1) comprising sheets and a binding edge for connecting sheets. An articulation unit of the notepad on a parallelepiped case is arranged for guiding movement of the notepad between storage and utilization positions. The notepad is housed in the case, and the binding edge resting against a lower wall (7) of the case and a rear face (10) of the notepad is opposite to an inner surface of a rear wall of the case in a storage position. The rear face extracted from the case rests against an outer surface of the rear wall of the case in the utilization position.
