摘要
828,635. Hats. HALSTEAD & SEAGER Ltd. Feb. 20, 1958 [March 4, 1957], No. 7068/57. Class 63 A head covering is made by knitting or weaving thread, filament or yarn to form a single shaped piece of fabric 10, Fig. 2, of the required shape and size without being further shaped by shrinking, felting or blocking, linking together two edges 11 to form a hood with a single straight seam 12, Fig. 4, extending from the centre to the edge of the hood. The hood is shaped to have its widest portion W, Fig. 2, spaced inwardly from its edge and the fabric is doubled upon itself around the periphery, the fold being along the line W and concentric rings of stitching 14 secure the double thickness of fabric to form a brimlike portion with the fold forming the outer peripheral edge of the brim-like portion. This brim can be wholly or partly turned up or down, or an additional brim portion 15, Fig. 7 (not shown) may be provided to make the head covering resemble a deer-stalker cap.
