The throttle valve 12 at the entrance to chamber 5 is controlled manually through a rod 20 connected to the outer ring gear 15 of an epicyclic gear having a sun gear 17 fixed on the throttle shaft 13 and a planet gear 16 carried by arms 18 freely pivoted on shaft 13. The arm 18 is connected to a capsule 22 subject to the pressure in chamber 5. When the turbulence chamber pressure is below a predetermined value, capsule 22 is contracted and the throttle valve position is determined by the manual control means 20. If the pressure in chamber 5 rises above the predetermined value, capsule 22 expands and moves arm 18 to override the manual control and close throttle 12 until the predetermined pressure is restored.
