Polymeric Thermoplastic Compositions based on Post-Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride

A thermoplastic composition comprises (a) at least one post-chlorinated polymer and/or copolymer of vinyl chloride, (b) at least one graft copolymer of a halogenated polyolefin and vinyl chloride (alone or with one or more comonomers) and (c) at least one mineral filler, said components (b) and (c) being present in quantities respectively between 0À5 and 100 and between 5 and 50 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts of component (a). Specified fillers are, CaCO 3 , quartz, SiO 2 and Al 2 O 3 , in the form of particles, optionally coated with mineral wax, fatty acids or soap. In examples, the compositions comprise chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, a graft polymer of chlorinated polyethylene and vinyl chloride, aluminium silicate, bariumcadmium laurate, epoxidized soy bean oil and wax.
