A glazing frame assembly particularly for converting single to double glazing comprises a pane receiving strip 1 secured to a window frame or its surround and having on its surface or surfaces contacting the frame or surround, a channel recess 3 housing a foam &c., sealing strip 4 and having a bearing edge 6 for the pane 16, and also a retaining strip 2 shaped as by the provision of lip 9 to be a press fit over rib 7 on the strip 1 and to overlap the marginal edge of the pane 16, the strips 1 and 2 being held by interlocking rib and channel members 11, 12 integral with the strips 1, 2. The strips 1 and 2 may be extrusions of plastics material and mitred at corner joints of a frame.
