Cutting strips of flexible plastic material for placing on the groove of a working table of a paper trimmer are produced by thermally shaping the side surface of the strip, which is applied against the side walls of the groove, so that the surfaces assume an undulating shape. - The cutting strip cooperates with the blade of the trimmer. - The strip retains its initial position in the groove, and has a high resistance to wear and atmospheric conditions. - Accurate trimming is obtained.
