The pressure rollers, with preset loading, and of adjustable height are distributed symmetrically mounted on fixed shafts running radially between the outer cylindrical housing and a central pillar passing through the centre of the floor which runs on inner and outer roller tracks. A sump for the syrup is placed below the floor. The heights of the rollers from the riddle floor are progressively decreased in the direction of rotation of the floor.
