A centrifugal coupling device for photographic cameras provided with a focal plane shutter of the curtain type for the purpose of providing for uniform exposure over the entire frame, the device is embodied in one of the pairs of rollers which roll and unwind the curtain portion and is arranged to equalize the variations in speed at which the rollers rotate at an exposure.
