Adhesive comprises a peroxide-vulcanisable EPDM elastomer alone or with =30% other adhesives (e.g. butyl rubber, SBR) and is free from halogen (cpds) metal (cpds.) (except Ta, Nb, Zr, Al, Au, Pt, Hf, V)z; nitrates, sulphates, S-cpds. sol. carboxylic acid residues; H2O and S. Used as adhesive or casting cpd. for glueing, fixing or potting of electrolytic structural elements esp. wet-Al-electrolyte condenser windings.
