Peroxide-vulcanisable, fluorine-contg. elastomer material (I) contains a fluoroelastomer with iodine and/or bromine in the mol. (II), an organic peroxide, a polyfunctional cpd. (III) and active carbon powder (IV). ADVANTAGE - Addn. of (IV) gives vulcanised prods. with improved strength and lower permanent set w.r.t. prior-art peroxide-vulcanisablee fluoroelastomers, and prevents the evolution of toxic MeI or MeBr etc. during hot-vulcanising.
