Denaturing of domestic fuel oil by melting the denaturant in the absence of all solvent in a homogeneous liquid in a container provided with a heating system, and injecting liquid from this container in a proportion of the domestic fuel oil determined automatically so as to obtain a master solution, which itself can be injected automatically in automatically determined proportion into the fuel oil in storage so as to obtain domestic fuel oil denatured according to the regulations.
