摘要
1299380 Rotary positive-displacement machines TRW Inc 23 Dec 1969 [14 July 1969] 62668/69 Heading F1F In an hydraulic pump, or motor, a gerotor mechanism 27 has a ring gear 29a with tubular teeth 38 engaging with a gear 33 fixed to a rotary shaft 20, planetary motion of the ring gear being controlled by gear teeth 39, 40 thereon and on a housing member 13. To control the flow of working fluid between inlet and outlet openings 43, 44 and pockets 41a to 41g in said mechanism an annular plate 29b is secured to the ring gear by rivets 47, apertures 54a to 54g in the plate being connected to ports 57a to 57g by passageways 56a to 56g in the ring gear. Planetary motion of the plate with the ring gear brings the apertures sequentially and alternately into register with annular grooves 43b, 44b, which are formed in a housing portion 12 and connected to the openings 43, 44. In a second embodiment, Fig.5 (not shown), a further pair of inlet and outlet openings is provided in a housing end-cap and another plate is secured to the other side of the ring gear to control the flow to and from these openings. A third embodiment, Figs.6 to 10 (not shown), has a single pair of inlet and outlet openings, a plate similar to the plate 29b fixed to each side of the ring gear, passageways corresponding to the passageways 56a to 56g formed in a plate lodged between the first-mentioned plate and the ring gear, and a pair of annular grooves on each side of the ring gear corresponding to the grooves 43b, 44b and connected to said openings, the two pairs of grooves being inter-connected by way of the gap between ring gear and the housing and passages in the shaft, respectively. A fourth embodiment, Fig.11 (not shown), is substantially the same as that shown but adapted to drive a road wheel of a vehicle. A fifth embodiment, Fig.12 (not shown), differs from the fourth one chiefly in that the shaft is fixed and the housing rotates.
