Laminated cladding - with resin-impregnated glass fibre matting core and outer foil layers

Two rollers are used to carry the outer foil sheeting, spaced at a gap representing the laminate thickness. The glass fibre matting core material is passed through the gap while fluid resin is held in that gap between the core material and the rollers foterial afterwards. The veneer is much more temp.-light-, acid- and alkali-resitant than conventional veneers and may have any colouring, surface pattern and glaze desired. The ceramic is usually between 0.5 and 1 mm thick.
