Aerating dying lakes by deep introduction of bubbles - in downward liquid flow at speed exceeding bubble ascent speed

A method of introducing gas depp into a liquid consists of using a downward jet of liquid to generate downward flow of bubble-containing liquid in a pipe projecting downwards through the surface; the flow speed exceeds the upward flotation speed of the bubbles. The bubbles may leave the lower end of the tube either directionally or non-directionally. For any gasifying or aerating of liquids, e.g. in chemical processes, but esp. for aerating deep lakes which are dead or dying. Deep penetration of bubbles is obtained with economical equipment.
