1460983 Valves PONT-A-MOUSSON SA 30 July 1974 [10 Aug 1973] 33505/74 Heading F2V In a thermostatic mixer tap comprising a body 1 and a slidable piston member 2 both having hot water inlet ports 21, 24, cold water inlet ports 20, 23 and mixed water outlet ports 22, 25 respectively, the flow of mixed water is controlled by the piston member cooperating with a fixed closure member 26 and actuated by a knob 5 and the degree of mixing is controlled by a cylindrical closure member 14 positioned within and co-operating with the piston member and actuated by a thermosensitive element 17 which is set by a knob 4. The element 17 is suspended between springs 18 and 19 and its pin is biased against rod 45 and screw 46 for setting by the knob 4.
