Abstract of the DisclosureA process is disclosed for preparing vinyl halide polymersand copolymers in which heat and light stabilizers are incorporatedduring the bulk process of polymerization. The stabilizers functionto prevent discoloration of the polymers and copolymers, includinggraft copolymers during polymerization and the use of certain stabilizersresults in a surprising increase in yield of the product of thepolymerization process as compared to a vinyl halide polymer polymerizedin the absence of stabilizers.
