Gas filtration system employing a filtration screen of particulate solids

One or more fluidized filtration screens are created by sets of closely spaced, oppositely inclined louvers supporting particulate filter matter therebetween. Baffle members control the flow of gas across and through the fluidized filtration screen. The outlet louver angle is closely controlled to insure maximum filtration efficiency at relatively high gas velocity. Modular assemblies permit filter size variation matching gas flow rate and filtration loads.
