One or more C-shaped transverse frames are fitted round the jib so as to leave a space underneath for the crab to travel through, and support the ropes and cables, the space between the frame arm ends lying below the crab path. A freely rotating roller is mounted on a horizontal axis on the end of each arm, together with a bent moving arm, whose bend is at the height of the top of the roller, while the free upper ends of the arms converge in the upwards direction. A horizontal plate can be mounted on the bottom of each frame arm, in which the lower end of the moving arm turns freely, and this serves as the anchorage of a return spring whose other end is attached to a lever protruding radially from the vertical part of the moving arm.
