The elevator consists of two shafts on which are two guide rollers supporting two parallel conveyor belts. Rake-conveyors are suspended from bearings in the chain-links. On each side of the rake-conveyors are segments consisting of a control arm with a control roller, support arm with a support roller, and a tine. The entire width of the rake-conveyor has tines along it. The control arms with the control rollers are conducted outside the top part of the guide roller over the majority of the rake conveyors' path of rotation, inside a curved track. Beside the track a support rail is fixed to the side walls. The conveyor duct is formed by the scraper plates and the back wall. The control arms are deflected by means of a hook preferably fixed to the shaft near the top guide roller.
