The slider of the push-button switch has contacts and moves between two positions in an insulating housing with stationary counter contacts, its movement being actuated by the push-button. The slider latching is carried out by spring-loaded, heart-shaped cam. The cam springs are of compressions of coiled type (25), retained in a cover-shaped component, the cover (8) being firmly, but releasably, secured to the housing. The control element of the cam is preferably of rigid wire. The housing side end of the control element may be bent at right angles from the horizontal middle portion, while the actuating side end is bent vertically upwards and then in horizontal direction.
