An audio visual projection system, consisting of a mini cassette tape recorder, with incorporated projection synchronising, and a slide projector (9) has the elements of the system incorporated in the same frame in a case fitted with electrical supply connection for the recorder and projector. The case has in addition a ground transparent screen (20), an optical reflecting system (10, 21). Running the tape contained in the mini cassette triggers automatically the projection of slides at a rate and order corresponding to the sound recorded on the tape. The image of the slide is projected onto one of the two faces of the screen (20) by the reflecting means (10, 21).
