Digital watch time display - selectively displays hours and minutes according to 12 or 24 hour system

The digital time display allows the hour to be displayed separately or simultaneously according to the 12 hour and 24 hour systems, with the minutes indicated by the number 0 to 59. The 24 hour time display is obtained from the 12 hour time display, via a transcoder. The minutes display may similarly be converted from a 0 to 59 display, to a -29 to +30 display, such that, when the real minutes display is between 31 and 59 past the hour it can be converted into the form -29 to -1 with the following hour displayed. The hour may not normally be displaced under control of two elements, or a single control element with two positions used to obtain the hours display in the selected form.
