The digital time display system gives hours, minutes and if necessary seconds. It is an all purpose time display system. The hour and minute digits are presented in the appropriate order at the start of each hour. The hour digits are controlled to display the current hour and the minute digits will show the increasing values of the minutes. It is possible to interchange the positions of the hour and minute digits. The interchanged hour digits are switched to read the next hour, while the minute digits are controlled to read a minute countdown.
