The wrist watch has retrograde indication of hours and minutes in which the hour and minute hands are each activated by a rotary cam performing one revolution in 60 minutes, respectively 12 or 24 hours. Such mechanisms are at least partially linked, certain components of one of them being arranged in spaces not used by the other, and reciprocally. The linkage of the two mechanisms is such that the hours and the minutes are indicated so that the hours are shown to the left (26) and the minutes to the right (32) of the watch face. The two mechanisms extend in parallel and superimposed levels.
