An assembly of units for pleating a curtain and attaching the curtain to a support has, in each unit, a wire portion (5) with its top curved (6) for insertion into pleating tape (8) sewn at the top of the curtain (2). A ring (7) fixed to the lower edge of the vertical portion has a hook (12, 13) on one side and an eye (10, 11) on the other. Both hook and eye are perpendicular to the vertical portion and loosely held on the ring. After fitting of the units into the tape at predetermined intervals hooks and eyes of adjacent units are linked together. The distance between the units is less than along the curtain tape and the excess material forms pleats.
