The battery electrolyte acidimeter pipette enables one to establish the correct level of electrolyte in a battery without the need for successive checking. Appearance of electrolyte in the pipette when the plug is removed indicates that the level is reached when the battery is being filled. Appearance of air bubbles indicate that the level is correct. The pipette has a tubular part which cover the inside of it. The pipette is designed so that its lower end can touch the battery plates or to maintain this end a centimetre above the plates. The interior tubular part is movable in the longitudinal direction so that it can touch the plates or be withdrawn one centimetre from them.
