An electrostatic precipitator constructed of vertical concentric tubes, uses a liq. for flushing down the tube walls to remove polluting matls. from the gas being treated, enabling the appts. to function for long periods without attentiona. The precipitator is used for the removal of solid and semi-solid particles from the effluent gases from furnaces, heating installation of all kinds, incinerators etc. The device is simple and easily adaptable to construction in different sizes by altering tube diameters.
