The capacitor assembly is of XY class and contains an X-capacitor and two Y-capacitors with one combined electrode connected to a lead wire. The capacitors (6, 7, 8) have ceramic dielectric with electrodes (10) on both sides. The capacitor discs are arranged in parallel and in a stacked manner. The X-capacitor (7) is sandwiched between the two Y-capacitors (6, 8). - The lead wire (12) connecting the two electrodes of the Y-capacitors is connected to the external electrodes. Connecting wires for the other Y-capacitor electrode to one X-capacitor electrode are conductively connected to facing electrodes of the Y- and X-capacitors. Preferably circular electrodes are applied to the ceramic discs.
