A still or cine camera operating with cassetted film has a second lens (6) of longer focal length situated near the main lens (5). The optical axis of the second lens (6) falls near the film gate (11d) on the section (11e) of the cassette (11) spur (11c). A mirror (12) is used to deflect the image formed by the second lens (6) so that it crosses the ray path of the first lens (5). A second mirror (14) is mounted in the ray path of the first lens (5). It deflects the ray path. It is pivotted so that it can be positioned to reflect either one of the incoming images onto the film gate (11d) to the exclusion of the other.
