A twin cassette type double camera is used for selective production of cine and still pictures on separate cassettes (4,5). It has the two cassettes (4,5) mounted within the camera housing such that they may be moved, complete with their drive and coupling sections (26,22), into their respective operating positions. The cine film cassette (5) can move in the direction of the camera optical axis (c-c), producing a space near the objective lens (1) when in its rest position into which the still film cassette (4) may be moved in a direction at right angles to the optical axis (c-c) so that it may be exposed.
