Eccentric roller clamp with supporting yoke - has lever rotating roller to lock shaft flange against pressure pad

The locking clamp for a revolving shaft (12) has a clamp yoke (20) which is attached to the clamp frame (11). The clamp yoke supports a spindle (36) for an eccentric roller (25) which protrudes into the slot (26) of the clamp yoke. An adjustable pressure pad (30) is located opposite the roller centre of rotation. A radial flange plate (13) is attached to the revolving shaft, and moves between the pressure pad (30) and the clamp roller (25). To lock the shaft a lever (48) is used to rotate the eccentric clamp roller. This clamps the flange (13) between pressure pad and roller, thus preventing the flange and shaft from rotating.
