Load sensitive brake control valve - with manual set screw for min. pressure setting up to set loading

The brake control valve reduces the brake force on the rear wheels w.r.t. loading of the rear axle (15). The load sensor has a lever (12) linked to a cam (38) inside the valve, with the cam operating on the valve piston (35). In order to allow a minimum brake pressure, up to a set loading, the cam is out of contact with the piston at low loadings, and is replaced by an adjustable screw stop (39). The position of the screw stop is adjustable to give the required point at which the brake modulation stats.
