The electronic clock has a positional display employing light-emitting diodes. These are positioned in three groups comprising diodes indicating the minutes, 12 diodes providing a 5 minutes indication and a further 12 diodes providing the hours indication. The resetting circuit for the time has a rheostat coupled to an interrupter switch. The hour indication provided by the third diode group may be altered to indicate the next hour, when the diode group providing the 5 minutes indication indicates 35 minutes past the hour. Some of the diodes in at least one diode group may be permanently illuminated to allow the clock face to be seen at ight or from a distance.
