ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA boiler control regulates the input fuel and airto satisfy load demand. Simultaneously, fuel flow is ad-justed by fuel flow control to correct for changes in fuelheating value. A computer circuit which generates a heatbalance ratio of outlet steam flow and input mass fuel flowas a representation of imbalance between presumed heat inputand actual heat output and by inference from the imbalanceor change in fuel heating value. The heat balance ratio ismultiplied against an actual fuel feedback signal and theratio corrected signal is applied to the fuel flow control.
